BATHROOM TRANSFORMATION
Guys… It’s time! I have been telling you about this bathroom renovation for weeks now and even though I posted yesterday, about the guest room, I couldn’t wait any longer to share the before and after pictures of the bathroom!
This has been the most time consuming, frustrating, and at times painful room that we have worked on in this house and now that it is finally finished I can say that it was all worth it! The bathroom went from the least loved room in the house to my new favorite! I hope you like it!
This room is still small so pictures of the layout are a little hard to get on camera (specially before pics) so I thought I would draw up a blue print of before and after of this room to help you guys understand how it has changed.
Here is the before blueprint layout.
So this room was super crowded and like everything else in this house dark and dated. My goals for this room when I started my designs were to create more space, make it brighter with more natural light, and updated. I think we did it!
This room, as you can tell, is long and narrow and the original layout didn’t help the room feel any bigger with the tub being on the largest wall. We had just enough room to move the tub to the exterior wall which automatically gave us so much more room. We also put in two new windows to get more natural light. Along with that, we swapped the locations of the toilet and the sink. By doing this we realized we had room to put in a double sink vanity! Okay okay I’ll stop talking and let you see pics!
Here are some before’s.
And the After's!
Next on our to-do list is finish the kitchen with some countertops and new flooring. Should be able to give you another update next week!
